Police Social Worker
Alexandra is the Police Social Worker for the Bartlett Police Department. Alexandra provides crisis intervention, case management, crime victim services, short-term counseling, referrals, and support to individuals, families, and groups within the community. Alexandra serves on the crisis intervention team, collaborating with law enforcement officers to support and assist with mental health-related calls and other crises.
Before joining the NEDFYS team, Alexandra worked with victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and our homeless population, where she provided case management, crisis intervention, and short-term counseling. Alexandra has years of experience working in crisis centers, shelters, and in child welfare. Alexandra previously worked as an intern at West Chicago Police Department in their Social Services Unit, where she provided crisis intervention, case management, and support to community members.
Fun fact: Alexandra loves to dance! Alexandra has danced since she was three years old and used to dance competitively.
