Ali Smith, LSW

Associate Therapist

Ali has been working with specialized populations struggling with various mental health concerns, relational issues, and both domestic and sexual violence. Her goal is to assist people through the difficulties in their life so that they can strengthen the abilities they already have. She is also passionate about helping her clients navigate the criminal justice system, if necessary so that they walk away feeling confident and supported.

Ali’s prior experience includes 4 years with DuPage County government as a Case Manager for Illinois' Department of Adult Protective Services (abuse/neglect investigations and case management). She completed graduate-level clinical internships with Carol Stream Police Department as a Police Social Worker. Currently, she volunteers as a Sexual Assault Medical Advocate with the YWCA Metropolitan Chicago.

Fun fact: She loves to travel and her biggest trip recently was Tanzania, Africa where she got to spend time working with a local NPO for HIV/Aids education and female empowerment. Ali also saw lots of wild animals and hiked Mt. Kilimanjaro.
