Ashley Liem, MPH
Ashley Liem joined NEDFYS in March 2018. She primarily works with adolescents by facilitating youth prevention programming in the Addison area. She designs much of her programming to focus on social emotional learning skills, daily healthy habits, and positive youth development. Currently, she facilitates a program she helped to develop called Healthy Habits in addition to a national program called Lions Quest. She implements these curricula for children at Henry Hyde Resource Center’s after-school program.
Prior to joining NEDFYS, Ashley worked at the Henry Hyde Resource Center as the Youth Leadership Intern and as a Youth Mentor. In 2020, Ashley received the Adult Changemaker Award from the DuPage County Prevention Leadership Team (PLT) for her work in youth prevention programming.
Fun fact: Ashley enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also loves to try new foods and aims to visit every continent (4 more continents to go!)
