Julia is a Program Associate for the Teen REACH program. As a program associate, they create lesson plans and run activities to help encourage youth to achieve positive growth and development for future success. Julia practices mindfulness, art therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy. With a background in the sciences and fine arts, they provide a wide range of activities in the program. Julia previously worked as a medical scribe in emergency and pediatric medicine. After spending time in the medical field, Julia switched careers from medicine to social work. They are passionate about child advocacy and supporting youth.
Fun fact: Julia used to be a pre-professional ballerina and enjoys spending time engaging in the fine arts. They write poetry, draw, and paint in their spare time.
