Bilingual Police Social Worker

As a Police Social Worker out of Villa Park Police Department. Luz provides case management and therapy to individuals, families, and youth. With 14 years of experience, Luz has serviced many from different cultures, ethnicities, and populations. Luz believes in empowering, educating, and encouraging the Human Spirit to become healthy and self-sufficient. Fascinated by “The holistic approach” is how Luz interprets those individuals that come through her door.

Prior to joining NEDFYS, Luz conducted post release home studies for unaccompanied minors in Human trafficking in addition to being an Intact Licensed case manager with DCFS. Familiarity with the inner city, from homeless, addictions to Human trafficking victims and or minors. With cultural sensitivity and diversity in mind, Luz is eager to service individuals from all over the nation.
