Prevention Programing

Teen REACH

Teen REACH stands for Responsibility, Education, Achievement, Caring and Hope. It is a comprehensive youth development initiative that provides after school program services to high-risk youth between the ages of 6 and 17. The goals of the Teen REACH program are to provide youth with safe learning environments, introduce youth to trusting adults to guide them toward educational success, help them develop marketable skills, and offer additional learning opportunities in after school programs.

Community Youth Services

NEDFYS has a strong partnership with the Henry Hyde Resource Center (HHRC) in Addison and the Addison Public Library to host our Community Youth Service (CYS) programs. These programs target youth ages 11 to 14 and focus on academic achievement, higher education, community service projects, and connection to local community resources.
