Thank you to Hinsdale Junior Women's Club for the award of $13,000 to purchase supplies and equipment for our various offices.

We greatly appreciate your support and look forward to our partnership.

NEDFYS was one of 38 agencies in DuPage County to receive a grant at the DuPage Foundation's Spring Grant Open House. The $20,000 grant will help support our community-based mental health counseling programs.

Many thanks to the DuPage Medical Group Charitable Fund of the DuPage Foundation for the $15,000 grant to support our bilingual clinical services team!

NEDFYS receives $10,000 award from the Alfred Bersted Foundation Bank of America, N.A. Trustee to support general agency operations. We are so thankful for their support.  

November 2018

In collaboration with the Bloomingdale and Glendale Heights Police Departments, NEDFYS was recently awarded a grant from the Bloomingdale Township Mental Health Board as part of their inaugural grant making process. NEDFYS will partner with these police departments to provide crisis intervention, mental health counseling and case management, and an array of other social services to residents of Bloomingdale Township.  NEDFYS looks forward to this partnership as well as working alongside other prominent agencies in the area to provide high quality, comprehensive services to those with developmental disabilities and mental health issues. 

Shannon Hartnett, NEDFYS Executive Director is pictured here along with Frank Giammarese, Director of Public Safety for the Village of Bloomingdale and other grantees, including Access Community Health Network, Amita Health, Bloomingdale Township Youth Services, Easter Seals, LTM Foundation, Marklund, NAMI DuPage, Ray Graham Association, Trinity Lutheran Adult Day Services, Roselle Police Department, and the YWCA of Metropolitan Chicago.
