Access Services
Northeast DuPage Family and Youth Services (NEDFYS) is committed to providing you with high-quality mental health services regardless of your insurance status or ability to pay. Many of our clients qualify for our services under state and local grant programs.
However, if you do not, we will work with you and your family to determine a manageable fee.
Open Door: Accessible Mental Health Care
If you have limited or no insurance, we use a sliding fee scale based on gross household income and family size to determine your fee. This is made possible through our Open Door program.
Open Door does not cover the entire cost of mental health services and clients will be responsible for paying a portion of their bill. The amount of the fee per visit will be discussed at intake with your therapist.
Health Insurance:
NEDFYS clients may also use their health insurance for counseling services. We currently accept the following commercial insurance:

Please note that payment is required at the time of service. This may be in the form of an insurance co-pay, a sliding-scale payment, or the full cost of service for self-paying clients.
