NEDFYS Therapists implement juvenile justice diversion programs to high-risk youth and their families, mental health support in off-site community locations, and groups conducted in public middle- and high-schools. Additionally, therapists conduct home visits for clinical and case management follow-up with local law enforcement personnel to eliminate barriers that might otherwise prevent client access to services. The NEDFYS Therapist also works to build and maintain community partnerships with local school districts, public libraries, and other service providers.
