Alyssa Tegtmeier, LSW
Police Social Worker
Alyssa is the Police Social Worker for the Glendale Heights Police Department. Alyssa provides crisis intervention, case management, short-term counseling, mediation, referrals, and support to individuals, couples, and families within the community. Before joining the NEDFYS team, Alyssa worked as a substance use counselor for New Age Services Corporation, facilitating individual and group counseling in an outpatient setting. She also interned at NAMI-DuPage and the DuPage County Public Defender’s Office, serving various populations.
Alyssa is committed to serving the Glendale Heights community and supporting NEDFYS’ mission.
Fun Fact: Alyssa is the co-director of an animal rescue and is the head coach of a travel fastpitch softball team.
