The goal of the CYS program is to prevent youth delinquency and violence by supporting young people ages 11–24 through community engagement, youth empowerment, family involvement, and access to supportive services. The program focuses on increasing youth life skills, connecting them to employment and educational opportunities, improving family communication, and strengthening environments where youth live and learn. By working with families, communities, and local systems, CYS aims to help youth build self-sufficiency, make healthy choices, and achieve positive futures.
