About the event

Strengthening Schools through Trusted Adults & Community Collaboration is a 5-hour interactive institute day designed to equip educators with practical strategies to foster connection, trust, and community engagement within their schools. Participants will explore what it means to be a trusted adult—relatable, relevant, and responsible—and learn how intentional relationships can positively impact student well-being and belonging.

The institute includes four focused sessions:

Session 1: Trusted Adults in Action – Understanding our role in students’ lives and building meaningful connections. In addition, when bringing outside community partners into the school, how they can serve as a trusted adult to your students.

Session 2: Collaborating with Community Partners – Utilizing Community Partners to strengthen and support school initiatives with the SEL, Tier 1, and PBIS teams. We will examine best practices for collaborating with community partners and how to nurture those relationships.
