Lizbeth Alvarenga, B.S.

Counselor

​

Lizbeth works as a counselor delivering counseling services and Community-based programming to the families of DuPage County. 

​

Lizbeth was a clinical intern at NEDFYs during the 23’-‘24 school year. Throughout her internship, Lizbeth provided individual, family, and bilingual counseling. Through her work, Lizbeth hopes to continue to raise awareness about the importance of mental health throughout the community. 

​

Before working at NEDFYS, Lizbeth worked as a Registered Behavior Technician where she provided ABA services to children ages 2-14. 

Fun fact: Lizbeth was a traditional Mexican folklorico dancer for 14 years.
